Counselor in Training: What You Should Know Part 1 – 6 CEUs
The objectives of this workshop are to familiarize participants with the transdisciplinary foundations of understanding addiction, general substance use treatment knowledge, how to apply knowledge in practice, substance use treatment practice dimensions of clinical evaluation, treatment planning, and referral and to define and develop professional readiness in a treatment setting and how these dimensions correlate to the 12 Core Functions.
***All workshops will be via ZOOM and start at 9 AM on the designated date. It is strongly requested that cameras be on during the workshops to encourage participant participation and for the integrity of the workshop. The participants will be asked to sign their names in the chat at the beginning and the end of the workshop to receive full credit. ***
