Other types of training can be accepted, but must be approved by the Board. Requests must be submitted by downloading and completing this form and attaching a copy of the agenda and a trainer biography.
- MidSOUTH Training Academy offers many different types of relevant training for counselors. All training is approved from MidSOUTH Training Academy.
IC&RC Candidate Guides
As a service to the profession, IC&RC provides publications for students, interns, and educators.
Each publication offers educators guidance for curriculum development and assistance in preparing students for examinations and their work in the field. IC&RC offers these resources free of charge:
Endorsed ADC and AADC Study Guides
- After thorough review, IC&RC has endorsed M404 – Getting Ready to Test: A Review and Preparation Manual for Drug and Alcohol Credentialing (8th edition) This self-guided manual provides the most comprehensive set of materials designed to help enhance your knowledge on many of the major, need-to-know areas of information required for the IC&RC ADC examination.
- For those counselors who are planning to take the Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) Credentialing Examination offered by IC&RC. This supplement also includes an all new 50-questions sample examination and MUST be paired with the M404 – Getting Ready to Test: A Review and Preparation Manual for Drug and Alcohol Credentialing (8th edition).
